TA-Series Robots
Palette Swaps Have Never Had This Much Personality
General: TA-series robots are 2-metre tall androids with slender, light frames and sharp, angular plating which protects the limbs and gives the torso shape but is otherwise minimal. The plating, and the skeletal main body under it, are made of aluminium-II and iron-II respectively. These materials are infused with diamond and other metals to increase their strength and prevent corrosion.
TA-series robots also sport a helmet with a large screen for a head, somewhat reminiscent of Guy Manuel's helmet or a Pal MAX robot's head. The screen can display images, project holograms, store objects by converting them to data (a process known as flashing, due to the flash of light generated), and is compatible with most apps. While the glass can be cracked, it takes much more effort than expected and it will will gradually self-repair over time.
Embedded in each TA-series robot's chest is some kind of power source, usually a battery with a truncated triangular shape and glowing green markings showing a circle with three equidistant lines coming out of it. This battery, if it wasn't already switched for something else, is protected by a transparent metal that is removable either by a complicated and fidgety process, or by breaking it with a lot of force.
TA-series robots are as sentient as an AI can be, have incredibly fast reaction times, high processing power, and are slow to overheat. This does not mean they are smart.
TASBot
The Speedrunner
Gender: Robot (he/him)
Species: AI Robot
Profession: Professional speedrunner and occasionally streamer
Appearance: TASBot has the standard TA-series chassis, in a blue-and-black colour scheme. Instead of a battery, he has a large blue ball of energy embedded in his chest. TASBot wears a medium-dark blue football shorts and shirt with blue accents. On the shirt's back is the number 59 and the word "SPEEDRUNNER" in the place where his last name would be. The shorts have two straps, each holding a pistol.
Abilities:
Speed Core: TASBot has the Speed Core embedded in his chest, letting him move at incredible speed without tiring. His average running speed is 100 mph, but by speedrunning he can move and process information up to 200x faster. The Speed Core is recharged whenever it is moving at a sufficient velocity, and 100 mph is the speed at which the core is exactly 100% efficient (at lower speeds, excess energy is produced by TASBot's run, and at higher speeds, energy will begin to be consumed.
Equipment:
Bayonet Pistol: TASBot's trusty right hand sidearm. It fires 9mm with decent precision, but lacks range. A knife is affixed to the underbarrel as a bayonet, and a can of ice spray is stuck to the side.
Elemental Pistol: TASBot's shiny left side sidearm. It fires elemental bullets, as long as it is loaded with the correct element.

TALBot
Full Metal
Gender: Robot (he/him)
Species: TA-Series Robot
Appearance: TALBot has the standard TA-Series chassis in a dark-red-and-black colour scheme. Instead of a battery, he has a large green ball of energy embedded in his chest. TALBot wears red Timberland boots, khaki jeans, a baseball cap with the letters "NTSC" on it. and no shirt. His helmet deviates from the norm, having a more angular design with multiple polygonal screens instead of one curved one.
Abilities:
Violence Core: TALBot draws power from the wilful destruction of things or people, also known as 'violence'. He can also pull any weapon from his chest, with the only rule being that it has to have been designed for use as a weapon first and foremost.
Violence Absorb: TALBot can pull a shield around himself that nullifies the effect of any physical attack against him and converts the kinetic energy to electrical energy, powering him up. This has to be pulled up manually (though it doesn't need to be called), it drains power while TALBot is not being attacked so it can't be left up carelessly, it doesn't work against attacks that would deal no physical damage. and it fails completely if TALBot is grappled.
Teleportation: TALBot can teleport short distances easily. He can teleport long distances if required, but this is slow and inefficient, so he prefers to drive.
Hovering: TALBot can hover freely. Movement speed is limited while using this, however.
Driving: TALBot is a highly skilled driver and pilot.
Equipment:
Timbs: TALBot's boots. They're very expensive, and he will be angry if you get them dirty or creased.
TALBot's jet: A white Lamborghini Egoista. On land, it's a hypercar, but it can take off and fly at supersonic speeds, and can be (relatively) comfortably driven by anybody who knows how to drive a fighter jet.
TALBot's car: A silver Maserati GT Convertible MC. It's not as fast as the Lambo, and can't fly, but it's still sleek, loud, and makes its driver feel like an edgy boss.

TANBot
Internet Memer
Appearance: TANBot has the standard TA-series chassis in a white-and-grey colour scheme. He has the standard battery in his chest, and wears nothing except a dark grey sheath on the right side of his waist.
Abilities:
Leap: TANBot has incredible jumping prowess, able to leap massive distances at high speed. He can also briefly stick to walls and ceilings, facilitating wall-jumps.
Swordsmanship: TANBot is extremely skilled with a blade, and is capable of making especially short work of enemies when armed with one he's familiar with.
Doxxing: TANBot is well-versed in tracking people and cracking securities. His abilities are weakened if the target does not use the internet.
Equipment:
High-Frequency Blade: TANBot's sheath is home to an orange high-frequency katana, electrically charged in order to weaken the bonds of molecules around it, allowing it to easily cut through even diamond.
Memes!: TANBot stores some 'meming equipment' in his digital storage. This changes every so often, but regular items include: flashbang grenades, a GLOCK-17, a neatly folded maid outfit, a tin of mints, and a box of professional lockpicking tools.
"We are all pawns of something even greater: memes, the DNA of the soul. They shape our will. They are the culture. They are everything we pass on." -Monsoon, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance
Taos
The Catgirl
Gender: Robot (she/her)
Species: TA-Series Robot
Appearance: Taos has the normal TA-series chassis with a pink-and-white colour scheme. She wears pink headphones with cat ears, a white tube top, a lacy pink skirt that goes just past her knees, and has a long prehensile pink tail (there's a hole cut for it in the skirt). Her helmet is often displaying some kind of emoticon.
She also has a white sheath on her waist.
Abilities:
Swordsmanship: Like her father, Taos is incredibly skilled with the blade. She prefers lighter swords.
Rhythm: Taos is a great dancer and can keep a perfect rhythm. This also manifests in her fighting style.
Dash: Taos possesses the ability to dash quickly in any direction. This has up to three uses in midair and almost no cooldown. Taos can initiate a wavedash via this ability.
Equipment:
Hidden Compartment: In addition to the storage of her helmet, the sheath on Taos' waist has a few not-immediately-obvious compartments on its side that she can store small objects in.
Headphones: Taos' headphones are wireless and can even pick up radio signals. An audio cable comes out of the left side if a button is pressed, in order to connect to wired-only machines.

Zeeland
Red Hot
Gender: Robot (he/him)
Species: TA-Series Robot
Appearance: Zeeland has the standard TA-series chassis with a bright-red-and-black colour scheme. He wears a red firefighter's outfit with reflective strips, as well as a red hard hat with golden badge to complete the look. A bluish ball of energy floats just behind his back, moving in a circular pattern centred on a point behind his chest.
Abilities:
Heat Core: The core embedded in Zeeland's chest, under his firefighter's outfit, controls heat. He can generate it, move it, or consume it for energy. It's like firebending, but cooler.
Time Core: The core floating around Zeeland's chest allows him to time travel, stop or slow time, and other things. It is the least energy efficient core, so spamming it isn't a good idea.
Equipment:
Outfit: Zeeland's hard hat provides him with moderate defense against blows on the head, and his uniform keeps him warm.
Firetruck: Zeeland has a set of transpacial car keys which spawn a firetruck. It's a relatively conventional firetruck, except that one of the hoses sprays gasoline.
