[Underside]

The light does cause some discomfort, but only for a bit. It seems to need time to adapt to brighter like and is at all unharmed. What seems to be the case is that the creature got a little groth boost during that testing. Not in a way it's in adulthoos, but related to his siblings he is at last as larg as the smallest of them. His fur also seems to got more fluffy like a winter fur and the tentacles also grow. (Those tentacles seem white but if you look at them for a bit it seems you can look through them)

It's a boy. AS they know the males of this race are smaller then the females, but they are more agile and likly take the job of hunting while the femal stay unterground defending their home and eggs.

Olvisin will continue to check on Quisp. She accepted that she'll keep him, though her siblings appear sceptical. But if the boss can keep an entire wolf pack, surely she can keep a deep-prowler with a possibly unique mutation. But first she needs to be sure it's safe to take him away with her.

[Underside]

Well, that is a really good question. The informations they gathered about those deep-prowler are good, but they don't involve any informations about tamed versions of the species. Most likly because people have not the specific areas for them like a totally dark cave and can operate in total darkness. The normal ones are going to adapt to passiv light in the next month, simular to a clear knight where stars and maybe a half moon brightens the night. They do grow quiet Larg and depending on the size of the cave might need more spaace.

Quisp is a simular case. he does grow at a simular rate. The light seems to be a nessesary thing for him. Every time Olvisin visits it won't leave her side. It's allways a small scene when she needs to leave. Otherwise development will be simular to the others. By now they should be at a size relativ to a young dog or wolf. The creatures need around 2 years to be fully grown.

Another thing is that by now the development of the tentacles start. The black ones get tentacles that resemble those of octopuss.Long flexible so they can grab things in their reach.
Quisp tentakles are different. they are transperent with a slight white outline and if Olvisin tries to grab one her hand goes through like they are ghosts. In her case it leaves a warm feeling of comfort. Like a hug from a family member. Other trainer get a bit of an uncomfortable shiver nothing more.

[Underside]

The goblins will move the other creatures to a larger, more open cave, where the dim twilight makes it easier to keep track of them without hurting them.

As for Quisp, the researchers will try to determine when it would be safe for Olvisin to take him home with her. If he's not hurt by light, he should be safe in MERC.

It might need around 1 or two months to get fully adjust to sunlight with a slow process of a bit more brigther light then usual.
Quisp will follow along, but when they leave the cave or enter an area Quisp hasn't seen he will examin everything he can. And in a manner lick it and bite it. To see what he might eat.

And so Olvisin takes Quisp with her to MERC, the rest of his siblings remaining in Underside in the goblins' care. They'll be observing and researching them their whole lives, to get more information about an elusive species.
