"Do you want to add it to the water supply? No, that would just cause widespread chaos and wouldn't serve any particular goal." Diluting the potion so much would also render it useless, but Raven doesn't need to know that.

Dorota's lips curl in disgust as she watches the scene. People like Raven love to push people past their limit and them blame and mock them for what they do as a result. They think it's some clever commentary on sapient beings' nature or something.

When the potion is forcibly imbibed by Greg, his mind will be placed in a highly suggestible, confused state. He will feel a strong sexual and emotional attraction to the first person he sees. Given that he's in the presence of two people, this can be a difference of split seconds and his mind might settle on one of them randomly.

While it won't drive him to assault anyone or commit any similar acts, it will be an emotion strong enough to border on obsession. Being rebuffed is likely to be ignored or cause a strong emotional response and he will react strongly and aggressively to any attempts to dissuade him.

"It's not like we have a river or anything up here. Maybe I'll show you my grand plan once we've upped production to appropriate levels." It's premature to do it now, when she can't flick on spotlights and have blaring dramatic evil music in the background exposing the depths of her depravity.

Meanwhile, Greg's pupils have dilated and his struggles cease as instead he reaches up to caress the cheek of one of his assailants, words of flattery about the beauty in their eyes he hadn't noticed before escaping his lips. At first, the others are confused, before recoiling and releasing Greg from their grasp. His amorous advances include promise of a dental plan that he cannot make good on, but he's willing pitch anything at this point. Coming off awfully strong though.

Before Raven presses a button with her umbrella and clicks the monitor off. "I've seen enough for now. We'll monitor them a little longer, but it seems like it's a smashing success. Excellent work, Doctor." Raven says with a grin. "Do you have anything to add? Anything... at all? If you need to tell me something, now's the time."

"Dozens." the man replies. "They do that all the time. Releasing the most fearsoem beasts like those or things called 'rabbits'."

They are free to do as they please, most people won't bother them much, maybe ask them for a coin or a piece of bread.

"What would you like to hear?" Dorota decides to take a gamble. Raven's desire for control over others and writing her own dramatic story might get the better of her. "Should I hint at a plan to foil your plans? Denounce your villainy? Explain how the potion doesn't produce real love? I'm not sure what would be dramatically appropriate."

Raven frowns slightly and spins her umbrella to rest upon her shoulder. "Occasionally doctor, details have to come before drama. I'd just figured you wouldn't want to upset me about some quirks of the potion you neglected to inform of me of... withholding information is dangerous. But if there's really nothing you wish to come clean about..." Raven will snap her fingers and a pair of mechazombies will step forward. "Escort our guest to her room and keep her nice and comfortable there."

The mecha-zombies will escort her to a room, separate from the other hostages. It appears to originally have been some sort of warehouse lobby for guests and vendors, the seats shoved off to one side to make room for a mattress. The television in the upper corner still works, as does the adjoining bathroom. A mecha-zombie remains posted at each of the two exits from this room, standing motionless with their one biological eye staring into empty space. Dorota will find plenty of time to herself over the next few days, mercifully free from any visits by Raven Ebondark.

The lack of Raven Ebondark is a welcome reprieve, but that just leaves Dorota with more time to sit there with guilt eating away at her. Could she have done more? Resisted? But that might just have got her killed... and then Raven would have found someone else to make the potion. But what will she do with it?

Eventually Dorota will be summoned once more, as will Rose, though the latter is not directly escorted by mecha-zombies. As Dorota draws closer, she'll hear the growing sounds of factory automation, of steam hisses and moving belts. Clanks and rotating gears and presses and pouring liquid. Soon enough Dorota is brought onto the floor of the factory, seeing large vats covering most of the space, the rest taking up with packaging and branding. Mecha-zombies tend to the processing line, standing in place, drooling and systematically pressing a button or pulling a lever over and over.

Dorota is led up to the catwalk precariously positioned above the chemical vats where Raven waits, standing and overseeing all she beholds, leaning on her umbrella as it presses against the metal flooring. Up here it's much easier to see what's going on. Much of the vats seems to be carefully modified to be producing Dorota's love potion in bulk, the telltale rainbow gleam at the end suggesting the process has gone smoothly. The rest appears to be processing... milk.

The final product appears to be combining two parts love potion and one part milk into bottles and cartons to be packaged and shipped off to various stores, marts, and houses. A very clear brand on the front of the packages has Raven herself, holding up a bottle with a saccharine smile, above the tagline - Raven's Rainbow Milk: A Taste You'll Fall In Love With.

"Isn't the means of production glorious?" Raven asks as Dorota arrives.

[Ritzy Supermarket]

While uncomfortably shopping in a place that Mina may or may not belong to, the heroic minotaur may come across a familiar face. In the dairy aisle the visage and image of none other than Arch-Nemesis and Queen Empress of the Nexus, Raven Ebondark's, stood grinning at Mina. Triumphantly holding up a bottle of milk, her face is plastered across a line of new product, Raven's Rainbow Milk promising a taste you'll fall in love with. The nekomancer taunts Mina in chipper 2D advertisement, practically yelling- 'Moo Bitch. Come get me.'

[All Around Skyside]

Raven's Rainbow Milk is being delivered to stores across Skyside. Anyone crazy enough to drink a new product with zero verified positive reviews in Skyside will suffer the effects of the Love Potion contained within and feel a strong attraction to the first person they see. While it won't drive someone to assault anyone or commit any similar acts, it will be an emotion strong enough to border on obsession. Being rebuffed is likely to be ignored or cause a strong emotional response and they will react strongly and aggressively to any attempts to dissuade them.

This time, Rose isn't far away; she's standing within fondling distance of Raven herself, watching the milk production process with a manic smirk on her face. Yup. This went pretty much exactly how she planned. Sure, Raven could say it was her plan, and she'd be right, but Rose does remember giving her the idea. Part of her was tempted to sabotage the production process, but no, that'd be too easy to trace back to her, and she's nowhere near what might be considered the biggest prize; Raven herself. For now, the play is to keep doing as she's been doing and let the more overt heroes handle the fallout from this one.

Besides, she's already done plenty. Ever since Raven got that look in her eye, Rose has been sneaking off to send updates on the progress of her scheme to MERC. While they won't be doing anything in Skyside proper, in all likelihood, Rose is sure they'll head off any attempts at a wider distribution; that alone would serve to contain much of the damage. She'll also let them know what the symptoms of Rainbow Milk "poisoning" look like, so if any slip by they'll still know how to spot and therefore contain an outbreak (and more importantly, what is the work of independent villains doing other things).

Oh, hey, Dorota. Rose gives her a friendly little wave, enough to greet her but hopefully not nearly enough to upstage Raven in her moment of triumph. Ticking off the future empress of the Nexus while standing on a catwalk (ooooh, she just got that) over a bunch of chemicals would probably appeal to her sense of drama just a bit too much, and falling to her doom from here would just be an embarrassing way to end her career.

Part of her wants to follow up on Raven's question, but again, there's a certain dramatic hazard to doing that right next to a balcony. So for now, she'll stick to the eye candy job. Comparatively risk-free, at least until an actual fight breaks out.

Dorota's stomach sinks when she sees what's happening. By all the dead gods... this is worse than she'd imagined. This is going to be a disaster.

"So, people will drink your milk and randomly become obsessed with the first person they see." She tries to keep a calm and clinical tone but fails. "Chaos and mayhem will follow."

MERC indeed doesn't have enough of a presence in Skyside to do much, but they received Rose's information and can act elsewhere.

Mina sighs. She can't tell which of her options are worse, fighting actual demons or the supervillains that seem to have already gotten weird ideas about the two of them. They fought once and now this is some sort of personal callout? Maybe?
Mina steps forward and takes one of the bottles, checking the back.

Raven tilts her head as if Dorota had said something queer. "Chaos? Mayhem? Ohhh... you still cannot see The BIG PICTURE!" Raven spreads her arms wide, gesticulating madly and nearly knocking Rose into her dramatically appropriate doom. Fortunately Raven steps towards Dorota and away from Rose, so the probability of an unfortunate accident decreases substantially.

Raven meanwhile, changes from gesturing to sweeping her umbrella out across the production line, pointing towards the end. "What is on each of those cartons and bottles? ME! I AM!! Empress Ebondark, your Queen!" Raven points to her own face. "The first person they're going to see is me. They'll fall madly in love with me, as well they should. That they haven't already is the foibles of a weak willed and broken society that I will fix." She spins as if to show herself off, her dress lifting a little and settling in the process.

"But this... this will make it absolutely helpless to resist my siren call tomorrow when I ask my doting paramours to be to come, line up for a Raven-recommended immortality upgrade! They will all flock to me, willingly throwing themselves down before the scalpel, giving their lives to serve me once and for all in undeath." Raven's grin grows wide and manic, her voice shrill and her tone cruel as giddiness creeps into her every word. "With a burgeoning army of devoted mecha-zombies, Skyside will be mine for the taking!"

"NYAHAHAHAHAHA!!!"

[Ritzy Supermarket]

The HQ address isn't on the back, that would be silly! However, a riddle that leads to the HQ address is there, in the form of a fake HQ address. The key to the riddle is realizing that while three III's side by side in a single word technically works, it works even better when you draw cat ears on top in order to change them into an M.

So long as Mina figures out the ingenious cat ear key, she'll be able to discover the supervillain's HQ address.

It already took all of Rose's self-restraint to not mess with production up until now. Get the graphic design team to somehow subtly screw up Raven's face on the bottles so her victims wouldn't quite recognize her, maybe. Or fiddle with the thermal controls of the potion production; Dorota implied the process was quite delicate and she could probably make that a convincing production error. Or something along those lines.

But Raven laying out the far-reaching consequences of her scheme tests her all over again. That's a plan that can not be allowed to succeed. And she has it within her power to stop it, here and now, by-

...No. That still seems like a bad move. If their last interaction was anything to go by, Raven was already suspicious of her. If anything did go wrong, Rose was likely to take the blame whether she was responsible or not... as an administrative failure, even if Raven didn't accuse her of sabotage. And Raven tended not to be particularly kind to her incompetent subordinates... and then there won't be any internal assets in her organization.

This is a problem that will have to be solved externally. Unfortunately.

At least up until this point. Rose still has access to all the shipping information. Once Raven's been beaten to an acceptable degree, she can still assist with the cleanup effort. Raven might not even mind then, if Rose understood her eccentricities right. But until she's had her epic battle, this needs to go off without a hitch.

...Dammit. She should still be doing something. It's just a shame she can't quite figure out what.

"...All right, as much as I would love to stand up here and admire all of the machinery..." Rose forces a surprisingly convincing giggle, giving Raven a look that implies she wasn't talking about the factory below. "...I do believe we have a cow heading our way. Which means it's time for you-" She steps toward Dorota and wraps an arm around her. "-to get into position. Which I believe would be 'upside-down over a vat of boiling chemicals', if my memos are up to date." She grins. "Lucky you! I always wanted to try that."

Somehow, Raven Ebondark's laughter is one of the worst parts of the experience for Dorota, despite her kidnapping providing so many other sources of trauma. The alchemist briefly ponders the pros and cons of tackling Raven into one of the vats, sacrificing her own life to silence the laughter. Mind you, it looks like falling into one of those vats might be in the cards anyway.

"Could I at least hang the right way up?" she asks with the resignation of someone who doesn't see a long life ahead of her.

Ritzy Supermarket/Lair

Mina does not figure out the super secret cipher on the address.
...she does end up looking up the correct address anyway because there's a smudge on the label and she just thinks that III looks like an M anyway.
Well, Mina leaves the grocery store, drops off her groceries in a nearby charity box and swaps outfits behind a wall. It's the same uniform as last time, but now she has a blindfold!
It doesn't actually obscure her vision, but it does cover her eyes. Khannie told her as a superhero she should really hide her face at least a little.

She'll probably be at the lair in an hour or less unless Raven set surprises in her path.

Tsk. Not even a 'You're mad' from Dorota. What a waste She truly, absolutely is the worst hostage and Raven won't feel any guilt or sadness in doing horrible things to her if it comes to that.

"Rose dear, we discussed this. Heroes get hung upside down so they get woozy and see their own doom coming as they're lowered in. Hostages get hung right side up so when their shoes touch the liquid they can lift their legs up and scream for help," Raven helpfully reminds her right hand. The catgirl points at an open vat full of rainbow liquid. "Hang her over that one."

[Black Abyss Milk Factory]

Raven has no surprises for Mina between the supermarket and the top secret warehouse lair. Largely because she has little way of knowing which direction the minotaur would be coming from.

Raven does, however, have plenty of mecha-zombie minions milling about the outer perimeter of the warehouse, guarding the interior from would-be intruders! There is an improbably large number of conveniently placed gargoyles high on buildings in nearby alleys and streets that Mina could grapple to and hang from if she wants to remain unseen.

"Oh, of course." Rose gives herself a little bap on the forehead. "Silly me! Just a tick." She leads Dorota down the catwalk, toward a crane that had been installed just for hostage/hero dangling purposes, and sets about securing a line for Dorota.

"Don't panic." She advises the alchemist quietly, as she starts looping the rope around Dorota's wrists. "She's not going to give the order to lower you in until the superheroine she did all of this to antagonize shows up. I've got the entire sequence programmed into the crane for when that happens; if you aren't rescued before the two-inch mark, it'll swing you over and drop you down on one of the shipping containers, there." She glances at the container in question and gives a subtle nod; too small a gesture to be seen from too far away, but hopefully enough to indicate what she's talking about to Dorota. "I'm tying you up with a knot called a slippery hitch. It'll look and feel plenty tight so long as this rope is under tension, but as soon as it's not, it slips right open and you can be out of your bindings in less than ten seconds." Dorota might also notice that Rose has left her feet free; implicitly at Raven's instruction, but it serves a double purpose in making it very easy for her to run as soon as she's on the ground. "Get in one of the trucks, doesn't matter which, and drive off as quickly as possible. Raven will send me in the tank to pursue you, since the mechas aren't fast enough to catch you on foot. I'll get you safely back to HALO from there."

The henchwoman gives the line a little tug and taps the crane's automated touchscreen controls. "Don't worry. Everything's going to be just fine." She offers Dorota a reassuring little smile, just before pressing her boot up against the woman's stomach and shoving her off the platform, the rope pulling taut and keeping her from falling further than a few inches. The crane will get her into position from there.

Despite the circumstances, Rose has also taken the time to ensure that Dorota's being placed in mortal peril is as comfortable as it reasonably can be. The rope she chose appears to have been developed for a similar purpose as it's being used for now; there's no chafing or scratching involved, and it breathes fairly well, meaning Dorota should still have complete circulation throughout her body. And while Rose tied the aforementioned knot on her wrists, the rope is looped around her chest and shoulders, so her weight is distributed more or less evenly, with a few more ornamental loops around her arms and torso for the classic hostage look. And as promised, the whole thing can come undone as soon as her wrists are free; Rose intended for that to be part of the planned escape sequence, but if Dorota wriggled out a hand early, she might be able to get out on her own terms.

[Thunderhead Alleyway]

A long breath escapes the maw of a massive woman. She's hunched over as she looks at the unconscious bodies of three of the city's toughs; one, a bald orc covered in tattoos, had his arm broken the fight when he was kicked into the nearest wall. The second, a human that'd been carrying a rifle that's now in pieces, was knocked out from a backhand to the head from an arm approximately as large around as a tree trunk. The final unconscious thug is nothing less than an ogre - he was probably what gave the three of them the confidence to pull a stunt like this. He'd gone down to a sleeper hold though.

The crocodilian woman, at the moment, is leaning her back against a brick wall. Her breathing has already leveled out, and the damage is going away but the streaks of blood on her torso, clear evidence of bullet wounds, still remain. She's wearing tight black shorts, a close-fitted top that only covers her chest, and a bright red cape tied around her waist at the moment. No armor. The human had shot her four times during the fight, and that lack of armor meant the bullets went right into her. None of it was life-threatening to someone like her, who could regenerate after a battle, but it still hurt like hell. Waiting for the wounds to close is important if you don't want to strain your body.

Of course, given the gunshots, it's probable that someone is coming to see what happened...

Mina weighs at least five hundred pounds and does not sneak well. She also doesn't own a grappling hook, though despite her size she could probably use one if she actually tried.
So when she gets to the factory she simply leans forward and charges the first zombie she sees with a very strong punch. Unlike their first encounter, Mina isn't unsteady on her feet from a Libra-induced growth spurt. Raven better have upgraded her minions.

Thunderhead Alleyway

A new person sticks her head in. A tall, eight-foot blond minotaur in a pure white uniform and a blindfold. Despite the cloth over her eyes, she has no trouble seeing the scaly woman and the pile of bodies, notably absent of blood, dismembered body parts, and overall cases of death.
"...you okay?" she asks gently,
